Data Backup & Disaster Recovery in Austin, TX
Hourly snapshots, immutable off-site copies, and restores we actually test. A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan.
What Does a Tested Backup Program Look Like?
3-2-1 Architecture
Three copies, two media, one immutable off-site. Ransomware cannot encrypt what it cannot reach.
Hourly Snapshots
Servers and critical data every hour. A bad afternoon costs you 60 minutes of work, not a day.
Quarterly Restore Tests
We restore real systems on a schedule and send you the timed report. Trust the drill, not the dashboard.
Disaster Recovery
A written DR plan with recovery-time targets per system. Priority order decided by you before the bad day, not during it.
How Do We Build Your Backup Program?
Architecture first, then relentless verification. The restore is the product; the backup is just the ingredient.
Why Do Backups Fail Exactly When You Need Them?
Three ways, every time: the job had been silently failing for months and nobody was watching; the backup existed but had never been restore-tested; or the copy sat on the same network the ransomware reached. Each failure mode has a specific, boring fix, and we run all three.
Backup Radar watches every job independently of the backup software itself, so a vendor console lying about success gets caught. Quarterly restore tests prove the recovery time instead of estimating it. And the immutable off-site copy means the worst day ends with a restore, not a ransom negotiation.
What Runs Under the Hood?
Independent verification is the difference between a backup and a hope.
Monitors every backup job across every platform, independent of the backup vendor. No green checkmark goes unaudited.
Business NAS for hourly snapshots and LAN-speed restores. A failed server is back in hours, not days.
Encrypted, write-once cloud copies with retention locks. Ransomware cannot encrypt what it cannot modify.
Independent backup of mail, drives, and sites. Microsoft and Google do not do this for you.
Job scheduling, agent health, and restore automation across every endpoint and server.
CLIENTSYNC PORTAL
Where Do You See All of This?
Every client gets their own portal into us through ClientSync. Open and track tickets, browse your asset inventory, pull invoices and reports, and watch backup status live. No emailing us to ask where things stand.
Common Data Backup & Recovery Questions
How fast can we be back up after total loss?+
Critical systems in about 4 hours from immutable backups. The full DR plan sets a target per system, in writing, so nothing is a surprise.
Are Microsoft 365 and email backed up too?+
Yes. Microsoft does not back up your mailboxes and SharePoint beyond short retention. We do, independently, with point-in-time restore.
What exactly is Backup Radar?+
A monitoring layer that independently checks every backup job daily and forces a ticket on any failure, missed window, or anomaly. It exists because backup software routinely reports success dishonestly.
Do you back up Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace too?+
Yes, independently. Deleted mailboxes, ransomware-encrypted OneDrive files, and purged Drive data are recoverable point-in-time, beyond the platforms’ short native retention.
Where does the off-site copy live?+
US data centers, encrypted at rest and in transit, immutable for the retention window. Compliance clients get region and retention set to their framework.
